I've got one tiny silly question.

Yes, I think mdns and the things that you can do with it is pretty cool.

However, given that you still require a dhcp server for the initial 
boot, why can't you host all the information that mdns would be 
providing there? Seems to me that you end up having to maintain both a 
dhcp server AND an mdns server. Surely there should be an option for it 
to all be held in DNS, or have some hook in the menu.lst.MACADDRESS file 
which contains a pointer to some config file somewhere?
