Why not? I thought there was so much positive discussion around providing a partition tool for OpenSolaris, especially one that could shrink existing NTFS laptops to make room, that we would want this very obvious/visible/discoverable. Yes, we could leave it burried in a menu somewhere, but for my 2 cent "ease of use, good first experience" marketing opinion, I'd put the icon on the desktop very visibly next to the install icon.
