Thanks a lot for your responses. I will change Fax passthru method of
ATA to REINVITE (it was indeed NSE - thanks Damjan). I can experiment with
it only out of working hours so I have to wait till evening.
But, I have a question about what Steve said. Does it have to be
answering party who initiate switch to T38? I am pretty sure that when I
am calling T38Gateway() it is fax on the line. At least nobody except the
fax machine can answer the call. Is it possible to force somehow
T38Gateway() to switch to T38. I found SipT38SwitchOver() but it does not
work when call comes from CAPI and SIP is not involved yet.
And what about opposite direction? When fax machine is calling through
ATA to Callweaver and ISDN. Will Callweaver detect fax and initiate switch
to T.38? I just do T38Gateway() call to CAPI.
