Compiz does not provide a unified rendering pipeline for GUI programming, it just composes pixmaps into OpenGL textures. > Linux has had it since before 2005 and it's so annoying I always turn it > off. Yes, the value is in a unified foundation and not the wobbly windows. For example, WPF allows you to define custom 3D objects and use them interoperably within the GUI framework. The contents of any widget may be any scene graph. They expose the same events and so on. -- Dr Jon Harrop, Flying Frog Consultancy Ltd. http://www.ffconsultancy.com/?e _______________________________________________ Caml-list mailing list.
