Richard, If there's a reasonable chance that you're going to carry a compressor, gear and a motor, consider an 18 over a 16 for it's load carrying ability. I have an H16 and an H18 Magnum (wings), and there's a big difference in their ability to handle weight. I have a motor mount on the 18 and it will do 5.5 kts with a 2 hp, 2 stroke motor. Anything bigger is too much weight. Dave
