Of course yesterday the tranquil Thames was just that....apart from the fact that Tony Haynes and me decided to boat right through the Reading Regatta! (actually Tony was hiding below as I pottered along the upstream shore, holding up a Salters "steamer"! :-) Hopefully the Thames will remain calm in the next few days so Dreamcatcher can reach the Oxford....hopefully bound for Tewitfield, then a Rochdale? transpennine. ps, do not try to moor upstream of the second yellow marker at Pangbourne Meadows (tight to the bridge, as there are some rather large sticky up underwater piles!
