Date - 05/05/08 Day - Bank Holiday Monday Start - 0845 Cowley Peachey End - 1700 Grove Park
We set off quite early as we plan to get back to Bourn End in 2 days as I will have to remove the alternator before we go home and our onboard power is limited with no fridge or means of charging phones/ laptop or torches etc. plus the use of pumps etc draws the batteries down a little bit more each day. It's not drastic but a bit inconvenient. Todays run has been amazing, we have met a boat at every lock, ether entering or leaving, plus we managed to share with another boat for three locks and a canoe for one. Its been the best weather since we set out just over a fortnight ago.
