Allan,
lots of people have answered this before I had an opportunity to read
it so I am answering following their comments.
I have never met Graham's landlord face to face but I have spoken to
him on the phone and was quite happy to do business with him, remember
he didn't know me ether but was prepared to let me enter his property
while he was not there.
The amount I am paying him is between myself and him, but it is not
just for mooring, I am also leaving my car on his land for a couple of
weeks and my friends left their car there while we were at Cavalcade.
He did offer me a key to the gate, but I turned it down and said I was
prepared to enter and leave when Julian was there to save the logistics
of getting it to me and returning it when I leave.
