A small plastic cruiser attemped to pass between our heavy wooden pair
and a working boat which was pausing (having got stuck) halfway through
winding in breezy conditions on the Trent and Mersey Canal. The gap
was closing rapidly and obviously inadequate, and I was seriously
worried that the cruiser would get squished. Fortunately it took
advantage of its light mass to change its mind and reverse suddenly at
the last minute!
