Hi All
It always seems that I am flushed out of delurking mode in order to respond to Mr Millin's insults.. His latest >Surely with that amount of smoke and crankiness of the machinery it has to be a Lister! ;-)) No comment on that required really, though I've heard that JPs are quite a nice engine in a barge ;-) On the subject of SMH weedhatches, we spend a lot of time with the hatch up since most of out boating is on the BCN. Normally we only leave two of the bolts in place so it doesn't take much time to get the lid up. I agree you need long arms if you want to put your arm down but I've never really needed to do this that often - invariably the short shaft is sufficient to get anything off the blades. Now back to lurking until Mr M. rattles my cage again. Mike Nb Joanna [Non-text portions of this message have been removed]
