Now, let's just look at the credibility of the two witnesses. One is a qualified engineer, member of engineering professional bodies, spent all his working life involved with vehicles, ran his own specialised garage business, specialised in emissions and on-board diagnostics, worked for a brief period for Lister at Dursley (it was a very brief aberration), worked for several major car manufacturers and can rebuild and marinise his own engines. The other is a camera shop proprietor who has to get said engineer to adjust his slow idle correctly after said camera shop man had buggered up the settings. On balance, who would a sensible court believe when assessing the performance/emissions of engines generally and Gardners in particular (Oh, and Listers....spit)? ;-)))) Roger
