He has properties everywhere including a back to back pair of houses in an expensive area in London (purely for security reasons you understand), travels continually with security guards, makes a fortune on the American lecture tour circuit, lives with his conscience and adamantly justifies his actions re Iraq and Afghanistan (despite his religious faith). If that is hurting then I'll have some of that.....well, the perks maybe but not the opprobrium ;-))))
To top all that he will probably escape with little, if any, criticism after the Chilcot enquiry. He stepped off the political roundabout just before all the financial sh(one)t hit the fan, handing over the poisoned chalice to his mate Gordon. He's now the Middle East Peace Envoy in an area he helped visit war upon. And now, to cap it all, he complains that, with all his commitments, he doesn't see as much of Cherie as he would like (you see there are silver linings Tony ;-))) No wonder he has earned the epithet of Teflon Tony.
