It was several inches thick here but it's rapidly breaking up. The junction with the Spring's Branch is now clear water (much to the duck's delight) and the roads and pavements are improving significantly. A marked contrast to yesterday when one took one's life in one's hands to walk on the pavements or roads due to the black ice. We saw a young neighbour crawling on hands and knees because the road was so icy. Roger
