I have read those thoughts of Chairman JT and remember them from previous conversations. I believe wholeheartedly in this gospel for the case when one wants the boat heated for habitation. However if it is for frost protection then all I want the Mikuni to say is "Aye, Aye Mr Roomstat SIR" "Certainly is a tad parky, less than 5 deg C by all accounts" "I'll go about my burn business and I won't stop for at least an hour, even if the room temperature rises" Click, click, tick tick tick, whhoooooosh.
