My finger was used for the job. All ten are still intact. It applies nicely, just like bathroom sealant. It seems to work too, it's seen a small number of fires so far lit in the Squirrel and is still flexy. The cheaper red stuff from Screwfix seemed OK around the flue / roof junction although it had gone quite hard (but not brittle) after ten years and was a complete sod to remove when I did some refurbishment last year. Envirograf have a web site, but the info on it is quite useless. Wassail! -- Martin Phillips [email protected]
