Hi All,
I thought this plan was old news, didn't know about the survey, but I beleived BW had planned to evict all the boats who are on the tow path, such as Victoria Park, and the bottom of the Lee and Hertford Union Cut, and then sell them as prime sites/moorings for the duration of the Olympics, not sure when the evicts were going to take place but!!!!! Where will all these tow path shufflers ago?? The question asking how much you would be prepared to pay to moor in London didn't even have the option to answer nothing. I'd already thought about going down there for a week or so but I have no need of extra facilities and no intention to pay extra to use something that is already there i.e. the towpath, so it looks like I won't be going after all. I've no problem with them offering extra facilities at a cost for those who want them but to not offer the usual facilities, or even give us the option to properly express our views in the survey is extremely poor in my opinion.
