BW are now asking about people's intentions regarding the Olympics via an online survey <http://www.surveymonkey.com/s/2012moorings>
It seems that they are planning to charge for moorings everywhere within striking distance, justifying it with extra facilities and staffing costs to them. The question asking how much you would be prepared to pay to moor in London didn't even have the option to answer nothing. I'd already thought about going down there for a week or so but I have no need of extra facilities and no intention to pay extra to use something that is already there i.e. the towpath, so it looks like I won't be going after all. I've no problem with them offering extra facilities at a cost for those who want them but to not offer the usual facilities, or even give us the option to properly express our views in the survey is extremely poor in my opinion.
