Prior to any adjustment, the drip rate was about 10-15 drops per minuet-  
estimate.
The boat yard guy said that it was dripping to much and was causing my auto  
bilge pump to come on.
He tighten the packing gland adjustment to where the drip was about 4 to 5  
drips per minuet- estimate.
Now when I put it in drive, there is a whistling noise, but when I give it  a 
few more rpm's, the whistling noise stops.
