Folks,

I have to say that Bob did a great job of avoiding the Melges fleet on
Sunday. He also did an awesome job of winning our LSSC Single Handed Race
http://lakeshoresailclub.org/raceresults/2007results/2007_results_singlehand
ed_01.pdf. My hat is off to him. I also want to mention that in addition
to Bobs' 1st place, I was able to manage 2nd place in my Catalina 27. This
is against a fleet of an Islander 36 (Marksman - Perennial DRYA Champion) a
Santana 35, a fellow Catalina 30, an Elite 32 and a Beneteau 350.

As you all know, our little Catalina's are great little cruisers. But they
can also do it on the race course.

Congratulations Bob!!!

Cary

Ha! I'm going sailing Sunday on Lake St. Clair. If I happen to bump
into a few of the 60+ Melges on the lake, well then, that's their problem.
I hear they'er having a National Regatta or something starting today.
