It really is amazing, the number of Catalina 27's in all the local marinas and 
so few race.  I am the only 27 that sails the DRYA series regularly.  I have 
had great success, ended up 2nd overall in Cr. PERF last year.  It sure is a 
lot of fun beating the likes of an X40 or a Farr.  Just would like a little 
more one design type of compition instead of figuring out the results on a 
computer.
