Listers,

?

I recently came across sone stuff called Eternabond which is used in roofing
and RV's.?? It's highly regarded in RV circles.?? RV's have similar problems
with leaks and core rot....

?

Has anybody ever tried it around window frames on a boat?? I might.?

Bob,

This is likely not glue, but residue from wet/rotted wood from your deck or the
cabin sides (prime culprit is window frames).??I had window leakage and the
cleanup was pretty easy - I used either Simple Green or a citrus cleaner - but
the prevention is another matter.??You will want to figure out where this is
coming from, because it indicates water intrusion to the plywood in the core.

Listees,

I know there was prior talk about this but I failed to save it.??In the cabin
behind my cushions on both sides there appears to be a molasses color residue
which has leaked down along the inside of the hull.??

If I remember correctly someone said this is from the sealent or epoxy or
something from the topsides - hull attachment.

Does anyone have a suggestion on what to use to clean it up?
