Phil, Excellent point. I have seen lots of industrial epoxy floor applications fail over the years when any silicones were used in the spaces in manufacturing. It is extremely difficult to get rid of them - even grinding the old floors just tends to grind the silicones in. Any traces left means that nothing adheres later.
