No The PO had the boat loaded down with lots of junk and had raised the boot stripe. I now have it too high for my liking. There isn't much that can be done about it now.

My understanding is that Brightside is only suitable above waterline. I used Brightside on a repair several years ago and it did not stand up as well as I had hoped it might. I did mine last year with Brightsides, which looked great when it went on. I moved the stripe up in back where it spent most of the time in the water. Still, when the boat was pulled and pressure washed this year most of the boot stripe from the cockpit back came off. Before I blindly put Brightsides back on and plan on it being an annual thing, I wondered if anyone else had found something better.
