I have what I believe must be the original traveler on my boat with jam cleats on each side of the cockpit for the lines. While singlehanding, it is awkward to have to reach across the cockpit to release or tighten the opposite line from where I am sitting. My question: Has anyone set up the traveler with a continuous line so that releasing and snubbing occurs with the same line, making it a continuous loop? Is there a setup for this? If any of you use such a system, how do you like it?
