A SHORT-BILLED DOWITCHER was seen along the Wildlife Drive. 5/30: A female RED-NECKED PHALAROPE was seen in the Main Pool and was refound the nest day. 5/31: A COMMON NIGHTHAWK and a YELLOW-BELLIED FLYCATCHER were reported along the Wildlife Drive. 6/1: At least 1 WHITE-RUMPED SANDPIPER was reported in with numerous DUNLIN and SEMI-PALMATED SANDPIPERS on the Main Pool. Also present in the Main Pool were about 6 BLACK-BELLIED PLOVERS. 12 CERULEAN WARBLERS and an ACADIAN FLYCATCHER were reported from Howland Island. PROTHONOTARY WARBLERS continue at the wooded section of Armitage Road. 6/2: A GLOSSY IBIS was seen at the Main Pool and Carncross Road. Given the times of the sightings it may have been the same bird. Cayuga County ------------ 5/30: A RED-HEADED WOODPECKER and a LESSER BLACK-BACKED GULL were seen at West Barrier Bar Park in Fair Haven. Onondaga County ------------ 5/29: A BLACK-BELLIED PLOVER and a RED-THROATED LOON were seen from the West Shore Trail of Onondaga Lake. An ORCHARD ORIOLE was seen at Green Lakes State Park. 5/31: 5 COMMON NIGHTHAWKS were seen on Oran Delphi Road south of Manlius. 6/1: A GRASSHOPPER SPARROW continues on Potter Road in Three Rivers WMA north of Baldwinsville. A COMMON LOON was seen from the West Shore Trail of Onondaga Lake. 6/2: 2 female PURPLE MARTINS were observed trying to get into a Martin House already occupied by Tree Swallows at Three Rivers WMA. Oswego County ------------ 5/28: A WHITE-RUMPED SANDPIPER and a YELLOW-BELLIED FLYCATCHER were seen at Deer Creek Marsh WMA. 5/29: A RED-HEADED WOODPECKER was seen at Derby Hill at the north lookout.A BLACK TERN was seen from Rt. 3 at Port Ontario. 6/1: A COMMON NIGHTHAWK was seen from Hinman Road north of Port Ontario. 6/2: A SANDHILL CRANE was seen at the Deer Creek Marsh WMA. Madison County ------------ 5/31: 8 COMMON NIGHTHAWKS were seen at Woodman Pond north of Hamilton. 6/1: A late LESSER SCAUP and late RING-NECK DUCK continue at Woodman Pond. 6/3: 3 ORCHARD ORIOLES were seen on Ditchbank Road north of Canastota. A lateWHITE-CROWNED SPARROW wa seen in Hamilton. Oneida County ------------ 5/28: A COMMON NIGHTHAWK was seen from Lakeshore Drive on Oneida Lake in North Bay. 5/30: At least one CLAY-COLORED SPARROW continues at Spring Farm Nature Sanctuary south of Clinton. Herkimer County ------------ 5/29: An OLIVE-SIDED FLYCATCHER and a YELLOW-BELLIED FLYCATCHER were seen on North Street north of Old Forge.
