     2/6: A ROUGH-LEGGED HAWK was seen at the Visitor’s Center.







Cayuga County

------------




     No reports this week.







Onondaga County

------------




     1/31: A GADWALL was seen near Mercer Park in Baldwinsville on the Seneca 
River. A WHITE-CROWNED SPARROW was see at the Marshy Spits on the west side of 
Onondaga lake south of the Honeywell Visitor’s Center.

     2/1: An EASTERN TOWHEE was again seen at the intersection of Haney and 
River Road west of Baldwinsville. It was refound on 2/7.

     2/3: A NORTHERN GOSHAWK was seen on Indian Hill Road in Pompey.

     2/5: A LONG-EARED OWL was spotted and photographed on the west shore trail 
of Onondaga Lake. A BLACK VULTURE was seen near Jamesville Beach park. An 
ICELAND GULL was seen in the Inner Harbor of Onondaga Lake. 4 PINE SISKINS were 
seen on Citation Drive in Pompey.

     2/6: An ICELAND GULL was seen at Oakwood Cemetery in Syracuse. A SNOWY OWL 
was seen at Hancock Airport. A PEREGRINE FALCON was seen from Washington Street 
in Syracuse.

     




Oswego County

     2/1: A HERMIT THRUSH was seen near Rt. 89 south of Oswego near Rice Creek.

     2/6: A RED-SHOULDERED HAWK was seen near Rt. 104A in Sterling.







Madison County

------------




     2/2: 2 LESSER BLACK-BACKED GULLS and a ROUGH-LEGGED HAWK  were seen on 
Ditchbank Road north of Canastota.

     2/6: A PEREGRINE FALCON and an ICELAND GULL were seen on Harwood Island 
Road north of Canastota. 2 WHITE-CROWNED SPARROWS were found on Colton Road 
north of Canastota.







Oneida County

------------




     2/1: A TURKEY VULTURE was seen in Clinton and was seen through 2/5. 

     2/5: A SNOWY OWL was seen from Peremeter Road on the old air base in Rome.

     2/6: A TURKEY VULTURE was seen in Clayville.







Herkimer County

------------




     2/2: 3 WHITE-WINGED CROSSBILLS and up to 20 RED CROSSBILLS were seen on 
North Lake Road and at Atwell north of Forestport.

     1/5: 19 RED CROSSBILLS and only 1 WHITE-WINGED CROSSBILL were seen in the 
same area north of Forestport.

     2/7: 3 RED CROSSBILLS and 1 WHITE-WINGED CROSSBILL were seen on Bald 
Mountain Trail north of Old Forge.
