February 14, 2022

Onondaga County

------------




     2/14: NORTHERN PINTAIL and AMERICAN WIGEON were seen at Lakeview Point on 
the west side on Onondaga Kaje.

     2/15: A BLACK VULTURE was spotted at the Jamesville OCCRA site on Rt. 91. 
Nearby on Sweet Road 3 more BLACK VULTURES were seen in Flight.

     2/16: 2 LAPLAND LONGSPURS were seen from Rt. 80 east of Tully.

     2/18: An ICELAND GULL was seen at the Inner Harbor south of Onondaga Lake.

     2/19: A PINE SISKIN was seen at Citation Drive in Pompey. 6 ICELAND GULLS 
and a GLAUCOUS GULL were seen at the Inner Harbor.

     2/20: A LESSER BLACK-BACKED GULL was seen at the Inner Harbor.A NORTHERN 
SHOVELER was seen at the Marshy Spits area on the west side of Onondaga Lake 
south of the Honeywell Visitor’s Center. A NORTHERN SHRIKE was seen at Three 
Rivers WMA north of Baldwinsville.

     2/21: At least 20 species of waterfowl were seen from Lakeview Point on 
the west side of Onondaga Lake.







Oswego County

     2/16: A YELLOW-RUMPED WARBLER was seen on Schilly Road north of Central 
Square.

     2/19: A RED-SHOULDERED HAWK was seen at Derby Hill on Lake Ontario. A 
COMMON REDPOLL was seen in Williamstown.

     2/20: A female HARLEQUIN DUCK was found on Lake Ontario near the NIMO EIC 
area.A RED-THROATED LOON was seen in Oswego harbor. A NORTHERN SHRIKE was seen 
on Tubbs Road in Mexico.







Madison County

------------




     2/19: A NORTHERN SHRIKE was seen on Ridge Road in Cazenovia.

     2/20: A LESSER BLACK-BACKED GULL, a PEREGRINE FALCON and 4 ICELAND GULLS 
were seen on Harwood Island Road north of Canastota.







Oneida County

------------




     2/15: 5 RED CROSSBILLS and 2 WHITE-WINGED CROSSBILLS were seen in the 
Woodhull State Forest north of Forestport.

2/20: A PINE SISKIN was seen on Maple flats Road in Cleveland.







Herkimer County

------------




     2/20: A COMMON REDPOLL was seen in Old Forge.

     2/21: 16 RED CROSSBILLS, 5 PINE SISKINS and 1 COMMON REDPOLL were seen in
