The on-list e-mail footers have appeared since ~19th April this year. I don't have a problem with that. IPexpert manage the list infrastructure, so they can do what they like. Similar commercial footers appear on GroupStudy messages. The frequency and "annoyance factor" of the unsolicited off-list e-mail isn't the issue. It's the principle. I didn't sign up for 'Platinum Placement' newsletters.
