Hi Marc,

I'm wondering if you might have a cabling problem? If the periodic DTP frames
couldn't get through the trunk may revert back to an access port and thus be
dropped from the Etherchannel. You could try enabling UDLD and seeing if the
port(s) get err-disabled after a period of time.

Cheers,
Ben.

It looks like the underlying problem is possibly with trunk status. One link is
access and one is trunking, but etherchannel requires that they be the same.

It then comes back up and everything seems fine for a bit and then it
happens again. Any idea what the issue could be or how to
troubleshoot? Obviously I could configure them as statically trunking
but a lab requirement prevents this.

Thank you,

Marc
