Yep, what you need to do is have all VTP devices running V1 or all running V2.

I've seen that before, usually has to do with mismatched vtp versions in the
switch domain

I'm not trying to create VLAN 1003. The error occurs when creating any VLAN
(in this case vlan 93). I'm not sure why it says vlan 1003 is missing, as
you can see from show vlan br, that it does in fact exist.
