If you haven't passed the lab, it extends it for 18 months.

If you have passed the lab, it extends it 2 years, but your expiration date
will always be your lab passing date.

I passed the R&S lab May1, 2012. I passed the Security written last week at
LIVE. My renewal date was May 1, 2014, but now that I passed the written
(within 6 months?), my renewal date is now May 1, 2016.

My question is what time period after passing the lab and taking a written,
does it extend your date?

Jay McMickle- CCIE #35355 (R&S)
