PS Is nobody reading Nature these days or no-one likes a good argument about crystallographic models any more in this bb ?
You undoubtedly refer to "Femtophysics: Double vision pp651 - 652 By cunningly diffracting X-rays twice from an exploding nanometre-scale sphere, holographic images can be made of a tiny system evolving at lightning speed. The technique could be used to picture atomic dynamics. Andrea Cavalleri"Kidding aside. Unfortunately it is difficult for those outside the field to understand what these "Brief Communications" are _really_ about. This is to some part due to issues of Political Correctness, but it also reflects the fact that crystallography is generally (and rightfully) believed to visualize the truth, and it is difficult to disprove this claim. Fortunately this is an impetus for people (in this case Janssen et al.) to develop new methods to make their point. Hopefully this is only a starting point.
