Years ago had X-10 modules with table-top and wireless controllers, no pc.
Found that one side of the house could not control X-10 modules on the other
side of the house.
Something about the way the breaker panel was wired, never got the details.
Just decided it was "not ready for prime time".

trying to figure the same thing out Mark...

I haven't had wonderful success with the firecracker... seem to think 
it might be fine for a small apartment, but not a house...
