At my present job (I start a new one on Aug 13 YES!!!) they decided to
implement employee monitoring software. I found out about it accidently and
talked to my supervisor about it providing references to similar situations
where the employers encountered very real problems. People working strictly
to rule which led to low moral and companies suffering at the bottom line. I
also reminded them of the Electronic Privacy Act in Canada, which states
that any stored information about a person must be made available to the
person, unless it is of public record. So, if they are tracking my internet
usage, I have a right to know.
I don't think they ended up installing this stuff, but maybe they did. I
don't care, I'm gone in two weeks YAY!!!!
In any event, I support the Libertarian Party's principles, so if you want
my view on this whole subject, check the Libertarian party out. I strongly
recommend that if you value your person and property that you check out the
Libertarian Party in your country.
Socialism/Democracy/Communism as political systems do not work. Not one
single socialist country has met its goals succesfully, nor has any
democracy, and we all know about communism's amazing success *dripping with
sarcasm*.
Would Libertarianism work? I believe so, it's worth a try. We've kicked the
can with every other type of shoe, let's try this one.
