Not sure if it's the splitter or not, but my cable (comcast, GRRR. Give
me some upload power please) is capped at 25-29k! Downloads are fast.
I've seen as high as 400k.
Check with your provider, they may be capping you. I believe they do
this as the cable bandwidth is much higher for downloads than uploads.
