Bullshit.
That's an empty tautology. By being against Bush and his policies,
they're automatically _for_ something. Anyone running against the
incumbent is automatically "against" the incumbent. Otherwise, there
would be no reason to be running because there wouldn't be any need to
run FOR anything. It's redundant, circular logic.
Here's what they are running for:
- For securing the Constitutional and civil rights of ALL Americans
- For putting a budget on Congress instead of letting them continue to
raise the debt ceiling
- For relieving taxes on the middle class
- For keeping jobs from being outsourced overseas
- For a reduction of corporate welfare
- For strengthening rural economies
- For reducing the soaring costs of health care and prescription meds
- For better access to healthcare for all Americans
- For multinational diplomacy
- For education in return for national service
- For a science before politics approach to science and engineering
- For eliminating capital gains taxes for long-term investments in
small business to spur high-tech jobs
That's just a quick run through of the high level stuff. If you don't
know about those, then you obviously aren't paying attention.
