If things go really, really wrong in Iraq, he just needs to change one position and he is back in the money.
If it goes really bad, he just has to start agreeing with the Dems that Iraq is NOT a part of the war on terrorism. Instantly he will be winning the war on terrorism again.

yes, but it is nothing new. How about the National Intelligence
Estimate which, it seems, has been on the President's desk since
*July* and says the likely outcomes are in the balance between the
current violent status quo and out and out war. Sure we're winning the
war on terrorism :)
On the bright side, Kerry seems to have woken up. I have been quite
impressed with him over the last few days, and this morning
especially.
