Exactly.  Although with the use of the words "personally" and you, I was
getting the impression that people understood that.

Use deductive logic.  We prove the base case to be true and you work up.

While my specific arguments are on a individual basis, religion and science
are essentially useless in a vacuum.  We are a society and thus we pursue
objectives as a community.  Because as we higher and higher into science,
the number of people that can verify an statement shrinks.  So at some
point there will be more people that will have to believe that a few number
of people when they claim that something is write.  And then there might be
a situation where only 1 person in the whole world might actually know an
answer.
