1) Get a person on the phone, any person, and
2) Dont let that person off the phone till they've bought something.
This tactic works from time to time, turning "no call" people into new customers. A no call list will cost them business, business gained via unwanted pressure sales practices.

I will never understand why the Telemarketing association is against
this. You would think they would want to ignore folks who don't want
telemarketing calls.
I also have no sympathy for the people who work in this industry. Get
a freaking clue. You work at a job that people hate.
