That seems a little harsh.
If memory serves me, Ray, you are (or have been) a telecommuter,
right? In that case, I might say that "You work at a job that people
hate." Especially people that have to commute an hour in bumper to bumper
traffic. Isaac also made a good point about Collection Agents.
The point being that everybody hates someone, and people gotta do what
people gotta do to get by. As an IT folk, I prefer to hate salesman and
Marketing people. As a small business owner, I am also a salesman and
Marketing people.
That said, I know have computers calling me instead of people. "hi this
is blahblah from blahblah, call me back @ x number if you're interested
in..."
