So do you feel that people who disagree, vehemently perhaps, with the methods of the government of Israel are anti-semitic? I'm not sure I would agree with that. I have strongly disagreed at times with things the U.S. government has done, but I wouldn't at all say I'm anti-American. Far from it. I won't deny that there are extreme opinions on this campus on just about every side of every issue, but the overwhelming attitude I see is one of tolerance. Most people I know generally get a little uncomfortable around people who take an extreme view of things. As an anecdote that may help alleviate some of the negative news that you hear, I recall being in a lit. class where we were reading a short story by a Jewish author. One of the students made an unthinkingly anti-semitic comment and the professor stopped the class and chastised him soundly. -Kevin ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~| Purchase from House of Fusion, a Macromedia Authorized Affiliate and support the CF community. http://www.houseoffusion.com/banners/view.cfm?bannerid=37 Message: http://www.houseoffusion.com/lists.cfm/link=i:5:133386 Archives: http://www.houseoffusion.com/cf_lists/threads.cfm/5 Subscription: http://www.houseoffusion.com/lists.cfm/link=s:5 Unsubscribe: http://www.houseoffusion.com/cf_lists/unsubscribe.cfm?user=11502.10531.5 Donations & Support: http://www.houseoffusion.com/tiny.cfm/54
