All my big stuff is in storage, but my hand tools are in my 1 bedroom apartment.
I typically lay out a large piece of canvas for each project, and just wrap it up when not working on it. I've built shoji screens, a couple of step tansu, a low computer table, a bed platform, a couple of lights, side tables, etc. The big cuts I get done at the lumber yard. The smaller cuts are all hand saw. And the dovetails and mortices are close saw and chisel work.
