That is false.

According to George Bush the central reason for going to war was that he had 
stockpiles of WMD and was therefore a clear and present
danger to the United States and to the world. You can misremember as much as 
you want, but htat was what your president said and
what he put forward to the world. It was what was said recently in his 
interview about the situation.
This Bush Administration came out time and time again Pre War and stated that 
Saddam HAD STOCKPILES of WMD and was a THREAT to the
world BECAUSE of those WMD. 


You can deny it all you want to make yourself feel better, it changes nothing.

laws he agreed to abide by. The UN passed a
resolution just before the war stating Saddam had to give inspectors full 
access and prove he destroyed his weapons or face severe
consequences. He did not.
