I'm not a big Howard fan but I think there is a big diference.  I didn't hear 
Howard's bit, but it sounds funny to me. Insensitive especially considering the 
timing (the next day). But its the kind of thing I would expect on a late night 
show a week after the crash.  I could see a late night guy joking about traffic 
and wondering outloud about the cost of taking a plane to the bridge.  But that 
sort of thing is a far cry from racist.  I've heard part of the Tsunami song 
and it isn't funny. It's sick.

they're equal opportunity offensive huh... I blame Howard Stern for
this. Do you know that after an Air Florida plane crashed into a
bridge in Washington DC he called the desk at National Airport and
asked the price of a ticket to the 14th Street Bridge?

Seriously, the whole thing sounds pretty revolting and not at all
onthe same level as a gay joke.
