Whilst the first is fun, I like the second better. It's easier to ready. Perhaps it's the dark dot in the middle of the O in the first one ... Draws my eye right to it and I see nothing else ... Whereas in the second, everything is all lined up and orderly and my eye sees it as a whole.
You might consider dumping the left hand dot - it seems a bit redundant.
