The circumstances that caused the lawlessness are unique, but the
lawlessness sure isn't!

It happens all of the time: hell, all it takes is a college team to
win the big game and there's anarchy for hours. Just a few years ago
we had cars overturned and burning, hundreds of rapes, looting,
robbery, assaults, and deaths all because the U of M won something I
can't even remember.

Our society is just hours away from riots at any point and the only
thing that stops it is a concerted police effort to tamp it down. If
the police can't be there, aren't there, or are part of it, then it's
anarchy for a long time.

We just had hurricanes hit Florida and they had looting, lawlessness
problems. Haven't you seen any of that? Hell, If I took ten minutes
I could probably name 20 events just this decade off of the top of my
head with sports probably accounting for more than half.
