No - the market should decide what skills should be baked in.  As you
said above, govt regulatino screws everything up.  Some schools would
focus on finance, some maybe on vocational stuff - the market weould
dictate the success or failure of a school, right down to the
curiculum.

Would this be acceptable in practice?  I dunno - alot of people would
probably object - but then they don'[t have to send their kids to a
vocation or finance focused school do they?
