:) it is not disrespectful in the least. Once PC started getting to
the point where it was getting silly is when i decided it was the
people making up all these PC rules that were being offended and not
the people in question.

And i'll have to say my bs meter is jumping right now.
You can't call me an American...i'm an Irish-American if you don't
call me that i'll feel disrespected.
And perhaps i could even see where it would be disrespectful if i was
talking to a native american and said indian. But when i only used the
term that i did to get the point across it works and it was even
prefaced with saying i know its not PC but it gets the point across.
Perhaps someone is being too sensitive and it is certainly not me.

But i guess with canada it is different with the high rate of
alcoholism. In the states the reservations here are the isolated
places with mostly native americans. I guess being up there you have
more then just the native americans isolated which i would assume
accounts for the differences.
