The issue isn't that the entire Muslim world is made up of lunatics, it is that the lunatics, at the moment, have the loudest voices. My greatest fear remains that these people will co-opt the governments of Muslim countries and turn them into duplicates of Iran. If that happens, we're headed for a potential global conflict.
I would vote to bomb the hell out of Syria and Iran today but for my suspicion that both of these countries have chemical weapons and they would try to unleash them against our troops in Iraq and Afghanistan.
