Understandable? What exactly do you mean by that? You discover a new culture that deems rape a moral action. Either you believe their actions to be immoral, or you don't. If you still believe it to be immoral, you are not a cultural relativist....because you have defined a morality without regard to culture. Doesn't matter one iota if you "understand" why they would feel rape is moral.......that's completely beside the point. And whether you are a relativist or not, nothing would give you the right to wipe out that new culture, immoral or not. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~| Message: http://www.houseoffusion.com/lists.cfm/link=i:5:200103 Archives: http://www.houseoffusion.com/cf_lists/threads.cfm/5 Subscription: http://www.houseoffusion.com/lists.cfm/link=s:5 Unsubscribe: http://www.houseoffusion.com/cf_lists/unsubscribe.cfm?user=11502.10531.5 Donations & Support: http://www.houseoffusion.com/tiny.cfm/54
